ジェフリー・ハーリングスとKTM、契約期間の延長合意を発表
今週末の3月1日（日）にイギリスで開催される、2020 モトクロス世界選手権（MXGP） 開幕戦 イギリスGP。
開幕戦を前に、KTMからは#84 Jeffrey Herlings（ジェフリー・ハーリングス）との契約期間延長のリリースがありました。
今回の延長期間は3年で、これによりハーリングスは2023年のMXGPシーズン終了までKTMから世界選手権に出場することとなります。
ハーリングスは2009年からKTMに在籍しており、2012年、2013年、2016年にMX2クラスで、2018年には最高峰MXGPクラスでチャンピオンを獲得。
昨シーズンは負傷により欠場が続きましたが、今シーズンも間違いなくチャンピオン争いに絡むライダーとして注目でしょう。
アメリカ行きもウワサされていましたが、当面はその実現はなさそうです。

I am super happy to announce that I extended my contract with Red-Bull and KTM from 2021 untill 2023. We have been through thick and thin, we won and we have lost together, it’s been an incredible 12 years together already since 2009 and hopefully many more beautiful years to come with wins and joys in this orange family.
